So I am having problems with this program sucking up CPU usage as well. After having ascertained that it was not in fact a virus I figured I would just shut it off. I could not determine the proper way to turn it off or "suspend" it. So I figured I would just delete it. I'm a big boy, I can manually search for and install updates. But no go. I get a notice saying I need permission to do that. Am I not my computers Administrator? It would seem not. There is a higher authority. It is this,

TrstedInstaller of Microsoft Corporation

(God, is that you?) Anyway, can someone help? I just need to know how to "suspend" this program.
