Good Morning -
I have a number of users with Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2's running Windows 8.1 Pro. These devices are joined to our domain but in an OU that is exempt from policy. When they are connected to a company wireless network, they seem to behave just fine. However
when my users take them out of the office and connect to their home networks, many of the Metro apps crash on startup. For example, the Camera and Photos apps both crash after attempting to start. The PC Settings app locks up after a minute or two. I've replicated the behavior with a wireless hotspot. Things get weird when I connect to the hotspot then immediately go back to normal as soon as I switch back to our company network. And by immediately, I really mean "immediately". No rebooting or logging off and back on. I can also tell you that this problem seems to be relegated to 8.1 Pro. The tablets I have running 8.0 Pro are not having the same issues.
Any assistance you can provide is very much appreciated. Thanks so much!
