"Error: MSACM32.dll was not found"

Is there a way to fix this easily?

I read a similar problem from a 2013 post, and unfortunately I don't have the luxury to simply rolling back my PC, and I don't have another PC I could copy the file from.

I'm running Win 8.1 64-bit, and it's coming up with the error when trying to run various games from a parent launcher to those games.

Specifically: I can play Battlefield 1 from the Origin launcher, but I can't play Titanfall from the same launcher. This has happened with other games, but with a 'msdmo.dll' error.

I realize it's not safe to download those files from online, but I don't see any other options. I've performed clean-installs of both launchers AND their respective games, but still come up with those errors.

It's bad enough I don't have the means to (upgrade/buy new) my PC, and even with the Windows updates my machine is 4 yrs old.
