Hello,
Recently, I was helping a friend over the phone. He's using an Asus Touchpad with a Windows 8.1 OS. He was claiming he couldn't get the keyboard to function after connecting it. I walked him through disabling the Touch Screen (assuming it would enable the keyboard). We'd gotten to Device Manager, disabled the Compliant Device under Human Interface Device. This DID disable the touch screen, however the keyboard STILL does not function, nor does the usb mouse he purchased and inserted.
Is there any other way to re-enable the Touch Screen if a mouse (and possibly keyboard) are not working/available? :(
